I’m Nitin George, proud owner of Rainforest & Talisman Property Management.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

About nine years ago, I realized that there was a need for a segment that offers something different. Star hotels have always had a significant presence in Goa. However, homestays and holiday homes were an entirely disorganized sector, and one would never really know if the pictures and promises posted online were what they would get in reality. I have heard nightmare stories from some of our guests who have booked holiday homes but ended up in dingy, poorly managed places that were far from what they expected. I decided I could do a better job than most other players in the market. Also, most of the homes that we manage are holiday homes which end up costing owners a ton of money to maintain over time.

We add a lot of value by monetizing clients’ asset and turn it into a value proposition rather than a financial drain. Our business was born to fill these gaps and bring professionalism to this segment! As our reputation has grown over the years, so has our inventory and goodwill. Today, people come to us to manage their homes, rather than going and selling ourselves.  

It has grown exponentially, from a team of four to now over fifty employees. We started with one unit, and now we have about eighty units in our inventory, ranging from self-catering one bedroom apartments to four bedrooms and even fully serviced high-end villas.

I have been in this line for nine years. My other business is property development where we undertake small residential projects across North Goa.

As a business, we always under promise and over deliver. That is my motto, and it has served me well.

The core of any business including ours is integrity. Yes, numbers matter and ultimately it is the driving force behind any business. However, ethics, honesty and the belief that for the most part, the customer is always right is the foundation that this company is built on. I have an open door policy with my staff. Right from housekeeping to management, anyone in my team can reach out to me at any time. Happy employees and a pleasant work environment lead to better productivity, and I think it would be fair to say that I have managed to find a balance between being a friend and a boss.

I attribute my success to my hands-on approach, attention to detail and the relationships I have built with my clients over the years. Trust and credibility are also paramount in this business.  

When I am not at work, I enjoy motorsports and spending time with my dogs. I’m not very fond of travelling. Ideally, I like to spend my free time just relaxing and de-stressing.
